The Story
It was just another regular day at the office for John, a sales executive at a leading pharmaceutical company. He received a chat prompt on his company's network from a potential client, asking for a quotation on a new drug. As he began typing out his response, he realized that the information he was about to provide contained numerous sensitive details that could compromise the company's trade secrets and cost them millions.
Thankfully, his company had recently implemented a new technology called PrivateGPT, a variant of the popular GPT language model that is specifically designed to prevent the leaking of sensitive information in chat prompts. PrivateGPT analyzes the chat prompts in real-time and only allows employees to respond with safe and non-sensitive answers, thus ensuring that the company's confidential information is kept secure.
